This whole journey honestly started because I was always way too lazy for any kind of productivity app. Be in scheduling, task management, or just reminders. I would have this moment. I would decide “I’m going to be a productive person”. This decision would inevitably lead me down a rabbit hole of researching the ‘best’ productivity app.
My google search history would be filled with “TickTick vs ToDoist, is Things 3 worth it, Notion templates for productivity”. Eventually I would settle on something (I’ve tried them all by now) and for a month or two a at a time, things would be great. I’d be flying and just oh so organized. I’d have it all planned out, sorted by projects, into neat folders, I’d create tags. Everything I had to do went into the app of choice, labeled, filed, and given a time for me to actually do it.
Things would go well… for awhile
Slowly but surely, I’d eventually burn out. The excitement of keeping everything neat and together would eventually run dry and I’d have to keep going on determination alone, something that many many people do to great success. But as I mentioned, I’m lazy. My inbox would be full of unscheduled tasks as the desire I have to keep things going withered away.
A productivity tool should make things easier
I always thought it shouldn’t be that hard. Productivity apps are supposed to help not give me more work… right? So, we made our own. It’s simple, requires little action, and maintains itself.

The key points are simple
- It schedules your task automatically
- You set when your working periods are (e.g 9am-1pm, 2pm-6pm)
- Take breaks and it will be factored into your schedule
- Swap a task out if you decide you don’t like what has been scheduled
We used many apps that millions love but we don’t. So, we decided to build something that works for us. Now that we’re getting closer to launching, I wanted to share what we’ve been up to with you. Hopefully, if you’ve been searching for something simple, you’ll find something in us. We aim to provide a tool that still gets the job done.
What’s next?
We are planning to launch officially in March, 2025. We hope you join us on this journey! In the mean time, join the waiting list to be the first to know when we launch! We’ll be updating you with new features that we’re implementing and with news on how we’re coming along. We will also be creating official feedback channels so we can hear what you think.
We have been working on this for months now behind the scenes. Words cannot express how excited we are to finally unveil it. We hope to see you join the Weave community.
